Tenterden '40's Event 2012

This is the second of our outings this year.
The weather was good and the crowds were possibly the largest that I have seen at Tenterden.
There was a lot going on at Bodium with some stalls and re-enactors plus dancers all doing their thing!
A fly-by with a D-Day Dakota was too quick for quick-draw-cameraman to get it out and take a shot!
At Tenterden itself, there was Military Police, Firemen (and Women), Viv-the-Spiv, Judy and the Lindy Hoppers all performing.
It was a great. chilled out day and I left at 1630 hrs to return home as my daughter was playing flute at the Marlow Theatre with the Hythe Town Band along with six other bands, including the Band of The Princess of Wales Royal Regiment, in aid of the Army Benevolent Fund.
A fantastic concert and a brilliant end to a good day out.
